About Us
Fondation Bukombe et Amis (FOBUA) is a non-profit organization committed to supporting vulnerable populations affected by conflict, poverty, and exploitation. Founded in 2017, we work primarily in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo—especially in Uvira and Fizi—providing aid to orphans, the homeless, and survivors of violence.
Our mission includes promoting education, healthcare, human rights, food security, and sustainable development, while also supporting peacebuilding, microfinance, and environmental efforts.
In 2023, we expanded to Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to help immigrants and newcomers settle and thrive in their new communities.
Together, we’re building stronger, safer futures—locally and globally.
